Paying for It

Funding streams districts commonly use.

Job-embedded professional learning and intervention systems work qualifies under several established funding sources. Your business office confirms eligibility for your specific budget; we provide the documentation they ask for.

Title I

School improvement funds directed to evidence-based strategies in high-need schools, including embedded literacy coaching and MTSS implementation.

Title II, Part A

Professional learning funds for teacher and leader development: coaching cycles, walkthrough protocols, and data-routine capacity building.

IDEA-Related Professional Development

Support connected to specially designed instruction for students with disabilities, including SDI coaching and dually identified student systems.

State Literacy & Science of Reading Funds

A growing number of states fund evidence-based reading implementation under literacy legislation; our ESSA Level II or III alignment supports those applications.

Funding availability and eligibility vary by state and budget cycle. We are glad to join a call with your business office or grants team to map the fit.

Week 1

Procurement Questions

Asked by business offices. Answered before the call.

How are engagements priced?

Engagements are scoped by consulting day count, from targeted partnerships of 4 to 10 days per school to anchor engagements of 11 to 50 days per school each year. A strategy call produces a concrete scope and investment range, usually in one conversation.

Are you an approved NYCPS vendor?

CSAS is an MTAC 1256 approved vendor for literacy instruction professional development and coaching. NYC READS partner.

Which funding streams do districts commonly use?

Districts commonly fund partnerships through Title I school improvement funds, Title II Part A professional learning funds, IDEA-related professional development for specially designed instruction, and state literacy or Science of Reading initiative funding. Your business office confirms eligibility for your specific budget.

Do you respond to RFPs and provide vendor documentation?

Yes. We respond to RFPs and provide standard vendor documentation on request: W-9, certificates of insurance, references, ESSA evidence alignment documentation, and source-data verification of published results.

Can a partnership begin mid-year?

Yes. The work follows your benchmark calendar, so a partnership can begin at any point in the school year: a mid-year start anchors to the MOY window and builds toward EOY evidence.

Do you offer multi-year agreements?

Yes. Anchor partnerships are designed as multi-year engagements because ownership transfer takes deliberate time. Our District 32 anchor partnership sustained improvement across three consecutive years in all 11 partner schools.
