About the Organization

Who we are

The Center for Student Achievement Solutions is a K–12 literacy consulting firm and NYC Reads partner serving 87 partner schools across 12 districts and 49,000 students, delivering 300+ coaching days a year. We equip school leaders and teachers to analyze, adapt, and grow, so every child has the opportunity to flourish. Our results are verified against benchmark source data, the standard we publish for ourselves and hold for every role on this team. Growth at CSAS is consultative by design: our partnership team opens doors with source-verified results, never products.

Position summary

The Coordinator of Educational Partnership Development builds and grows consultative partnerships between CSAS and K–12 districts, states, and schools within a regional territory. The role owns the full partnership arc: identifying opportunities, running needs conversations that respect the buyer, delivering executive presentations, navigating multi-stakeholder procurement, connecting district goals to funding, and growing existing partnerships year over year against defined revenue goals.

The Standard

Growth for a firm that grows readers.

We are deliberate about who represents CSAS at a district’s door, because the first conversation sets the standard for the partnership. Four things must be true of you.

You are consultative, never transactional.
You will never sell a district a product. You open partnerships for a professional services team whose results are verified against benchmark source data. Your job is to find the leaders who need us and earn the first thirty minutes.

You speak fluent K–12.
You have lived the district side as an educator or administrator, or sold into it successfully for years. You know how decisions really move: the stakeholders, the budget calendars, the procurement steps, and the difference between a meeting and a commitment.

You run a territory like an operator.
Strategic territory plans, disciplined pipelines, flawless follow-through, and honest forecasting, all managed independently from a home office. You surface funding paths too: Title I and Title II, state literacy initiatives, and local grant opportunities that make partnerships possible.

Excellence is your habit, not your aspiration.
Our core value is excellence in everything we do, and our people exceed expectations as a matter of routine. You hold your own bar higher than any quota.

The Work

What you will do

Identify and develop new partnership opportunities with states, districts, and schools in your territory, building relationships through outreach, referrals, conferences, and presence.

Run needs conversations that respect the buyer: assess a district’s literacy priorities and benchmark picture, then recommend the right scope with our consultant team, or say honestly when we are not the fit.

Deliver strategic presentations and virtual demonstrations to superintendents, principals, and cabinet-level decision makers, navigating multi-step procurement with multiple stakeholders.

Grow current partnerships: manage renewals and expansion for existing partner districts, keeping the relationship as strong in year three as day one.

Connect goals to funding: identify federal, state, and local funding opportunities that support district literacy initiatives.

Meet or exceed revenue goals for your territory, with clean pipeline records and honest reporting.
