Terms of Use
Clear rules. Plain language. No surprises.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and the Center for Student Achievement Solutions, LLC and its affiliates (“CSAS,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of this website (the “Site”). By accessing the Site you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
We may revise these Terms on a going-forward basis. Changes take effect upon the earlier of your first use of the Site with actual notice of the change or 30 days after we post it; disputes are resolved under the version in effect when the dispute arose. The plain-language boxes on this page are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.
Using the site means you accept these rules. We'll flag changes, and the summary boxes like this one are helpers, not contract language.
2. Who may use the site
The Site is intended for adults. If you are under 18, you represent that you have the consent of a parent or guardian to use it; no part of the Site is directed to children under 13. If you use the Site on behalf of a school, district, agency, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms, and “you” includes it.
3. The site is informational
The Site provides information about our services, published results, articles, and downloadable resources. It is not professional, legal, or educational advice for your specific situation, and no consulting relationship is created by using it. Service descriptions are provided in good faith and may change; the terms of any engagement are set by a written agreement between CSAS and your organization, which controls over anything on this Site.
About our results: outcomes published on the Site are drawn from real partnerships and verified against benchmark source data. They describe what happened in those schools; they are not a promise or guarantee of results in yours, which depend on many factors including implementation, staffing, and time.
The site tells you what we do and what our partners achieved. Real engagements run on signed contracts, and past results, though real and verified, aren't guarantees.
4. Our content and trademarks
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, page designs, interactive tools, documents, and code, are owned by or licensed to CSAS and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to access the Site and view and print its content for your personal, educational, or internal organizational use. You may not copy, republish, scrape, sell, or create derivative works from Site content without our written permission.
“Center for Student Achievement Solutions,” the CSAS color-wheel logo, and “We build the click.” are trademarks or service marks of the Center for Student Achievement Solutions, LLC. Nothing on the Site grants any license to use them.
5. Downloadable resources
We offer downloadable resources, including guides, playbooks, and scorecards. You may download, print, complete, and share them within your school, district, or organization for internal, non-commercial use, keeping all attribution intact. You may not sell them, strip our branding, or incorporate them into commercial products or paid trainings without our written permission. We’re genuinely glad when the field uses our work; we simply ask that it stay free and credited.
6. Content you send us
When you submit content through the Site, such as form messages, career materials, or feedback, you retain ownership, and you grant CSAS a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it to respond to you, provide services, and improve our offerings. You represent that you have the rights to what you submit and that it contains no confidential student information; the Site’s forms are not a channel for student records. Testimonials are published only with permission.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not violate any law, infringe anyone’s rights, or submit content that is unlawful, deceptive, or harmful;
- Do not attempt to probe, disable, overload, or interfere with the Site or its security, or access non-public areas;
- Do not scrape, harvest, or collect information about other users, or use the Site’s content to train commercial products without permission;
- Do not misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations, and may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.
8. Third-party links and tools
The Site links to third-party websites and tools, including our event registration platform, resource hub, social media, and articles. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, their content, or their privacy practices; your use of them is governed by their own terms.
9. Copyright complaints
We respect intellectual property. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice to admin@c4sas.com (subject: “Copyright Notice”) including: identification of the work and the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature. We will respond consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
10. Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY. We work hard to keep the Site accurate and current, and we do not warrant that it always will be.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CSAS AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONSULTANTS, AND AGENTS (THE “RELEASED PARTIES”) WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the Released Parties harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or content you submit.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Claims must be brought within one year after they arise, where permitted by law.
14. General
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and CSAS regarding the Site.
